On the top of Bastia ( 4 km away), you will find the hamlet of Alzeto.
Imagine, from the outset , the small chapel of Saint Antoine , then picture little gathered houses with their roofs, made in lauze, which run along narrow streets , all leading to the same old fountain.
Image, beyond that, mule tracks with their nice smell of the maquis, one of them being a waymarked path for the amateurs.
Put all that in a frame with mountains on the background, with gardens in espalier in the foreground, and scatter everything with some bunches of trees (ancestral olive-trees , walnut-trees and chataigners) and will you have an idea of the beautiful village of Alzeto which offers a plunging and uninterrupted view of the sea, and more precisely, on the port of Bastia .
You’ll stay in teghia ...
